Day 2

Berlin 
This fascinating tour begins with an account of how Berlin was founded. You'll go for a stroll along the famous Unter den Linden boulevard, passing the University and Opera House. The tour also takes you to the War Memorial (Neue Wache) and State Library, where Albert Einstein once worked. You'll see where the 1920s Cabaret Mile, Friedrichstrasse, once stood and how this area is being reinvented as Berlin's luxury shopping street. After walking through the Brandenburg Gate and seeing the Reichstag (Parliament) with its famous new dome, you'll take a walk past the new Holocaust Memorial and visit the site of Hitler's bunker. Listen as your guide explains what happened here at the end of the war, and why there is nothing left to see. You'll then see how 21st-century Berlin is taking shape on Potsdamer Platz, and find out where the Nazi SS and Gestapo HQ stood. You'll see the Berlin Wall and follow the 'death strip' to Checkpoint Charlie. While you walk, your guide will explain how the Wall was built, as well as the momentous events of its fall in 1989.

Day 3

Berlin - Leipzig (194km/3h) – Frankfurt (390km/5h)
Leave Berlin behind and continue to Leipzig! Here visit the  Old Town Hall. Located on the pretty main square of the city, it is a good orientation point. The Old City Hall was built  in 1556.It is a beautiful Renaissance style building, 90 meters long with arcades, six gables and a tower. Also visit St. Thomas Church and the Bach Museum - the church where Bach worked as a cantor from 1723 until his death in 1750 and Nikolaikirche, Leipzig's largest church. Have some free time to explore the city on your own. In the afternoon continue to Frankfurt and have an overnight there. 

Day 4

Frankfurt – Rudesheim (65km/1h) – St Goar (32km/30min) – Cologne (150km/2h30min)
Enjoy a morning tour including a visit to the famous Romer town hall - constructed in the 15th century, the Romer is Frankfurt's most important historic building.  Continue with a walk around the Old Sachsenhausen district and marvel at the sleek buildings in Frankfurt's European banking center. Have a walk around the historic heart of the city. Visit St Paul's Church and Frankfurt Cathedral  (Gotischer Kirchturm). The tour will then continue to Old Sachsenhausen, a pedestrian district of Frankfurt famed for its lively cafés, bars and restaurants.   Carry on to Frankfurt's modern European banking center, where you'll see the tall skyscrapers that characterize the city's imposing skyline. Other top Frankfurt attractions that you'll see is the old Hauptwache Plaza, with its beautiful Baroque buildings, and the famous Zeil shopping center. Continue to Rudesheim where you will enjoy a River Rhine cruise to St. Goar. Explore its lovely atmosphere and pretty scenery.  See the ruined fortress of Burg Rhinefels. Explore the underground tunnels built during the 30 Years War.  Departure to Cologne. Visit the Old town and explore the magic of the city. Continue to the Cathedral and its famous treasures like the shrine with the relics of the Three Wise Men or the triptych "The Altar of the City Patrons". Overnight.

Day 5

Cologne – Heidelberg (250km/2h30min)
Travel to old-fashioned Heidelberg- a jewel among German travel destinations. Visit The Heidelberg Castle - a famous ruin in Germany and landmark of Heidelberg. The castle ruins are among the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. See also the typical villages of the agricultural region, the Bergstrasse. Explore Heidelberg, Germany's oldest university and fascinating Heidelberger Schloss. Have some free time. Overnight.

Day 6

Heidelberg – Baden – Baden (90km/1h30min)
Continue to Baden – Baden - a spa town built on thermal springs at the edge of the Black Forest.  This picturesque town is beautifully situated in a wooded valley. Here enjoy a Roman bath ruins and Caracalla Therme procedures. Overnight.

Day 7

Baden – Baden – Rothenberg (126km/2h30min)
After a relaxing day at Baden – Baden continue to Rothenberg - the best-preserved walled town in Germany. During the Middle Ages, Rothenburg was Germany's second-largest city, with 6,000 inhabitants. Today, it is a favorite for those seeking a piece of quaint Medieval Germany. Free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight.

Day 8

Rothenberg -Stuttgart (129km/2h30min) 
Today the tour takes you to Stuttgart - most famous for its automotive industry - both Porsche and Mercedes-Benz have their headquarters here and both have car museums. You have the opportunity to visit them and to know more about their history. You can also visit Domkirche St. Eberhard (St. Eberhard's Cathedral Church), Grabkapelle Württemberg (Burial chapel Württemberg) and St. Catherine's Church, Stuttgart. Have a walk through the Schlossplatz (Palace Square) and Marktplatz (Market Square). Free time. Overnight

Day 9

Stuttgart – Munich (220km/3h20min)
Transfer to Munich - a city renowned for its festive and charming traditions. Travel past the Olympic Stadium, the fashionable Schwabing district and the Residenz, once home to the Wittlesbach dukes of Bavaria. Pay a visit to Nymphenburg Palace and continue to Marienplatz, Munich’s medieval heart, where you’ll see the city’s famed Glockenspiel. Overnight.

Day 10

Munich
Take advantage of your free time today for a walk in the Englischer Garten or a visit to the BMW museum. Or head into the Bavarian mountains on an optional excursion to Neuschwanstein, the fairytale castle of Mad King Ludwig. This excursion also includes a visit to scenic Oberammergau, known throughout the world for its open-air staging of the Passion Play, Germany’s oldest festival. 

Day 11

Munich
Transfer to the airport.
