Day 1 

Helsinki
Arrive at Helsinki Vantaa Airport.Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Helsinki – Turku (170km./2h.)
The historic road, which once linked the Kingdom of Sweden with the Russian Empire, offers a wealth of cultural heritage sites worth a visit, including the ruins of the Raasepori Castle, its tower and a circular wall, with remains of rooms in the middle. Continue to the Mustio Manor, the first building with double-glass windows in Finland. Visit Fiskars Ironworks, a must-see place for those interested in industrial history. See the Turku Castle. Highlights include the two dungeons and magnificent banquet halls, and a historical museum of medieval Turku in a maze of restored rooms in the castle's old bailey. Visit the Turku Cathedral, the Mother Church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, and the country's national shrine. It is also regarded as one of the major records of Finnish architectural history. Continue to Luostarinmäki. In 1827 a fire destroyed almost all of Turku. Luostarinmäki was one of the few areas that were saved, and now it hosts a handicrafts museum.

Day 3

Turku – Rauma (90km./1h.30min.) – Hämeenlinna(200km./2h.30.)
Enjoy the drive through Naantali with its charming wooden houses. Arrival in the Rauma, one of the oldest harbours in Finland and an outstanding example of an old Nordic city constructed in wood. Although ravaged by fire in the late 17th century, it has preserved its ancient vernacular architectural heritage. Visit a Franciscan monastery, where the mid-15th-century Holy Cross Church still stands. Enjoy a walk in the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See a demonstration of lace-making, a 200-year-old tradition in Rauma. Departure to Hämeenlinna.

Day 4

Hämeenlinna
Enjoy Hämeenlinna,  a traditional and vibrant educational and cultural town. Enjoy the ideal combination of nature and culture. Visit the city's landmark, one of the largest and most famous castles in Finland built during the middle ages. Hämeenlinna is also famous for its unique Aulanko Park and as the birthplace of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. Enjoy the typical Finish town market square in the city centre. Visit the Holy Cross Church, a medieval, gothic church, built mostly of red bricks. Inside there are many paintings and sculptures. See the Ahvenisto ridge, a beautiful ridge area. Enjoy the beach of the lake Ahvenisto. 

Day 5

Hämeenlinna – Tampere(8h.)
Depart by boat for a lake cruise to Tampere. Visit Visavuori, a museum entity comprising the Home and Atelier Museum of the artist Emil Wikström and the Kari-Pavilion exhibiting the works of Wikström's grandson, the most famous cartoonist in Finland. Disembark in Tampere.

Day 6

Tampere
Departure to Tampere. Start from Finland's largest glass sculpture, owned by the City of Tampere, "Pack Ice / The Mirror of the Sea". Visit The Littala Glass Center, the center of  Littala glass designs. Explore the glass factory and find the timeless Aalto Vase being produced along with other signature glass littala pieces. Enjoy spectacular views from an old red-brick observation tower situated on top of the impressive Pyynikki Ridge. Visit the Vapriikki Museum Centre, which includes the Natural History Museum of Tampere. Continue to the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame, one of the six museums in the world that have specialized in the history of the ice hockey. Go to the Amuri museum quarter that consists of five residential and four outbuildings. Enjoy the famous Finish public sauna there.

Day 7

Tampere – Mänttä(90km./1h.30min.) – Petäjävesi(60km./1h.) – Jyväskylä
The tour starts with a visit of the Old Church on the edge of the Tampere Central Square. Departure to Mänttä.  Enter the Gösta Serlachius Museum of Fine arts that presents a unique collection of classics of Finnish art and old European paintings. Continue on to the old wooden church at Petäjävesi, a typical example of an architectural tradition that is unique to eastern Scandinavia. It combines the Renaissance conception of a centrally planned church with older forms deriving from Gothic groin vaults. Departure to Jyväskylä.

Day 8

Jyväskylä – Mikkeli (120km./1h.30min.) – Lappeenranta (110km./2h.)
Departure  to Mikkeli, famous for the Kenkävero handicrafts center. Earlier it was the largest wooden vicarage in Finland. Enjoy its beautiful architecture and gardens. Admire the most picturesque lake scenery in Finland driving from Mikkeli to Lappeenranta. The tour goes to the harbor area, the parks nearby and continues to the fortress and Myllysaari beach that is a perfect place to chill out. Visit Wolkoff House museum, which represents the Russian and Orthodox traditions and also the life in Lappeenranta between the 19th and 20th centuries.

Day 9

Lappeenranta –Kotka (110km./1h.30min.)-Helsinki (100km./1h.30min.)
Continue back to Helsinki via Kotka, a town with maritime heritage. Visit the imperial fishing lodge built on the banks of the Langinkoski Rapids. Next stop is Ruotsinpyhtää. Explore the old ironworks dotted with red 18th-century workers’ houses. Arrival in Helsinki, a high-tech metropolis with the charm of a village. See world-class architecture visiting Helsinki's two main churches - the Lutheran Helsinki Cathedral and the Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral. They stand in stark contrast to each other and set the scene for this unique city. Visit Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen's Temppeliaukio Church, carved straight out of the rock that reveals the Finnish creative touch. Sit on the steps in Senate Square and marvel at the neo-classical surroundings.

Transfer to the airport.
