Day 1
Prague
Arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 2
Prague
Have a religious Prague tour: start with Starachovski convent, the church of the House of Nazareth – Prague's Loreto, Visit Prague Castle and St. Vitus cathedral with the funeral chapel of St. Vencesla, the patron of Czech Republic. The cathedral is also a place of eternal rest of St. John Nepomucen. Visit to the St. George Basilica, the Golden Lane, church of st Nicolas, church of the Virgin of the Victory with famous statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague (holy Mass). Next part of the visit to Prague is the bohemian Prague: walk to Jozefow, the former Jewish quarter. Walk along Charle's Bridge, continue with the Royal Route: Celetna street, Na Prikopie Street and Market Square with the Municipal Tower. Free time. Overnight.
Day 3
Prague - Wroclaw – Czestochowa
Depart from Prague to Wroclaw. After arrival there will be a guided tour of Wroclaw: the Gothic Town Hall, the University, the Ostrow Tumski complex with the Cathedral. Because of the bridges and islands on the Odra River, Wroclaw is nicknamed “the Venice of Poland”. The tour ends at the Market Square. Departure to Czestochowa. Overnight.
Day 4
Czestochowa – Krakow
Visit of the shrine and Holy Mass in the shrine. Guided tour to the most important pilgrimage place in Poland – the Jasna Gora monastery in Czestochowa: with a miraculous painting of the Virgin Mary – the Black Madonna. Holy Mass at st. Rosary Chapel. Departure to Krakow. After arrival have a guided tour that will include Wawel Hill with the castle and its beautiful yard and Cathedral, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of the Old Town (Stare Miasto), the biggest Market Square in Europe (Rynek Glowny), the Town Hall, Collegium Maius – the ancient building of the Jagiellonian University, the Clothes Hall (Sukiennice), Saint Mary’s Church with the famous Wit Stwosz's altar. Walk to the antique walls of the Old Town with the Florianska Gate and the Barbican. Overnight.
Day 5
Krakow – Lagiewniki - Krakow
Visit the monastery in Lagiewniki. The Sanctuary of Divine Mercy is where Saint Faustina Kowalska lived and died. This Monastery was proclaimed 'The center of Divine Mercy' by Pope John Paul II during his stay in Poland in 2002. On Divine Mercy Sunday (a week after Easter), thousands of people come to participate in masses and pray in the antique church where Saint Faustina Kowalska (founder of the cult of Divine Mercy) was buried. Return to Krakow – one of the first cities listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, for a guided tour including Wawel Hill with the castle and its beautiful yard and Cathedral, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of the Old Town (Stare Miasto), the biggest market square in Europe (Rynek Glowny), the Town Hall, Collegium Maius – an ancient building belonging to the Jagiellonian University, the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and Saint Mary’s Church with the famous altar by Veit Stoss. Afterwards walk to the antique walls of the Old Town through Florianska Gate and to the Barbican. Overnight.
Day 6
Krakow - Wadowice (50km/1) – Oswiecim (Auschwitz-Birkenau) (35km/45min) – Krakow (69km/1h)
Departure for Wadowice, where Pope John Paul II was born in 1920. Visit the Pope's home and the church where he was baptised. Transfer to Auschwitz and have a guided tour of the area of the former concentration camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau. The camp was built by Nazis during the Nazi occupation of Poland. Today this place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to Krakow. Overnight.
Day 7
Krakow – Wieliczka (10km/15min) - Krakow
The morning is for leisure. Later transfer to Wieliczka (10 km from Krakow). Guided tour in the Wieliczka Salt Mine – one of the oldest salt mines in the world. In 1978, the Wieliczka Salt Mine was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Free time. Overnight.
Day 8
Krakow – Pieniny and Dunajec (75km/1h20min) – Zakopane (165km/3h)
Departure for Sromowce Wyzne. Sailing on traditional wooden rafts down The Dunajec River, across The Pieninski National Park. Departure to the Polish mountain capital – Zakopane. Visit the town and ride the funicular railway or chairlift up to Gubalowka for a beautiful view over the Tatra Mountains. Overnight.
Day 9
Zakopane – Turcianske Teplice (136km/3h)
Departure to Teplice after a short time of leisure.The town of Teplice is surrounded by the Vel'ká Fatra, Malá Fatra, Ziar and Kremnické vrchy Mountains.Turcianske Teplice is one of the oldest spas of the country. Have some free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight.
Day 10
Turcianskie Teplice – Bratislava (211km/3h) – Vienna (79km/1h20min)
Departure to Bratislava - the capital and the largest city in Slovakia. Explore the historic Old Town, the Gothic St. Martin`s Cathedral and the Primate`s Palace, the neo-Classical residence of the Archbishop of Esztergom. Get to the quaint Main Square, with its craft market. Transfer to Vienna. After arrival have some free time to explore the city. Overnight.
Day 11
Vienna
There will be a guided city tour. Start with “Ringstrasse” with its fantastic monuments and buildings, such as the Opera, museums, the Parliament, the Town Hall, the National Theatre and the Imperial Palace of Hofburg. Continue with a walk to: Schonbrunn Palace, the Belvedere Gardens, the Estate Palace of Prince Eugene of Savoy. St. Stephen's Cathedral, imperial monuments and the main avenues, such as Karntnerstrasse. Sightseeing inside Sissy's Museum. Leisure time in Vienna. Overnight.
Day 12
Vienna – Melk (105km/1h30min) - Krems (37km/45min) – Vienna (78km/1h20min)
Start the day with a visit to Melk. Explore the Benedictine Abbey of Melk – the biggest Benedictine convent in Europe – a masterpiece of Austrian Baroque architecture. Continue to Krems. Visit the Danube Valley. (Ybbs and Krems belong to some of the most picturesque landscapes in all of Europe). Departure for Vienna. Overnight.
Day 13
Vienna
Transfer to airport for final departure.
