Take pleasure in touring for 12 days through Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia visiting wonderful cities such as Bucharest, Belgrade and Zagreb amongst other exciting places.

Day 1

Bucharest
Arrival at the airport, meet, assist and transfer to hotel.

Day 2

Bucharest
Full day guided tour. You will visit the Parliament Palace, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon, also visit the Village Museum, called “Romania in a nut shell”.  Proceed to the Romanian Athenaeum, the Opera House, the National Military Club, the Military Academy and the Triumphal Arch.

Day 3

Bucharest – Bran (173km/3h30min) – Brasov (30km/30min)
Today depart to Bran where you will visit the Bran Castle. Built in the 14th century, it was used to protect the border between Valahia and Transylvania. Informally known as Dracula's Castle, it is famous as it is believed to be once the home of an infamous medieval warlord. Continue to Brasov, where the rich Saxon merchants lived. The highlights of the city tour are visits to the Black Church, the largest gothic style church in South-Eastern Europe, St. Nicholas Church and First Romanian School.

Day 4

Brasov – Turno Severin (370km/4h30min)
Drive to Curtea De Arges, one of the oldest cities in Romania. Visit Curtea De Arges Monastery. Founded by Prince Neagoe Basarab, the monastery is truly a piece of art with unique architectural details.  In the afternoon, depart for Turno Severin where the remains of Trajan’s bridge, the largest and most daring work in the Roman Empire built on pillars of stone blocks, are found.

Day 5

Turno Severin – Belgrade (253km/4h)
Continue to the next part of your journey and travel into Serbia. Upon arriving in Belgrade, embark on a  tour of the city. Visit the famous Ethnographic Museum which has an array of exhibitions including jewellery, historical items and architecture. Get the chance to visit the worlds second largest uncompleted orthodox Church of St. Sava.

Day 6

Belgrade – Zagreb (394km/5h)
In the morning, take a leisurely walk towards park- fortress Kalemegdan which has a very long history going back to the 4th century. It was destroyed several times by successive waves of invaders and was rebuilt as a castle by the Byzantines in the 12th century. After that, we will travel to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Zagreb is situated between the southern slopes of the Medvednica Mountains and the northern bank of the Sava River. There we will explore the Republic Square, the heart of Zagreb.

Day 7

Zagreb – Plitvice (139km/3h) – Zagreb 
Today visit  St Mark’s Church, built in the 13th century and is the parish church of old Zagreb. Another significant attraction includes the Croatian National Theatre and University. After which, depart Zagreb and proceed to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Located near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Plitvice Lakes National Park is the most known Croatian national park listed as a  UNESCO site. The little lakes interconnected with waterfalls created by deposition of travertine constitute the main attraction of this unique park. Apart from lakes and forests, the park is ornamented with caves, springs, flower meadows, and is inhabited by many animal species such as the Brown Bear. In the evening, return to Zagreb and overnight.

Day 8

Zagreb – Ljublijana (145km/3h)
Proceed with a morning drive to Ljubljana. Upon reaching, embark on a half-day city tour by coach around Ljubljana, which is the capital and largest city in Slovenia. Visit the famous Prešeren Square and Triple Bridge as well as the many magnificent buildings such as the baroque-styled Church of St. Nicholas. The rest of the day is left free for leisure for some shopping.

Day 9

Ljublijana – Postojna Caves (66km/1h) - Ljubljana
Depart for Postojna, where you will visit the famous Postojna Caves. The Postojna Caves has some of the world's most beautiful underground caverns, which run for 27 kilometers surrounded by their magnificent galleries. Part of the caves are toured by electric railway, which shows fantastic stalactites and underground streams. The Predjama Castle is a Renaissance castle built under a natural rocky arch high in the stone wall which makes it difficult to access. It was only expanded later after it was acquired by a noble family.This gothic style castle even has a secret passage-way that links to the Postojna Caves. In the afternoon return to Ljubljana.

Day 10

Ljubljana – Bled (68km/1h)
Depart for Bled – With its natural beauty, together with its surroundings, it is renowned for its mild and healing climate. Proceed to the famous glacial Lake Bled and the iconic castle overlooking the lake. Built in 1044, the Bled Castle is one of the oldest castles in Slovenia. A small island in the middle of the lake is home to the Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church, visitors frequently ring its bell for good luck. To get to the island there is a traditional wooden row barge called Pletna, which is a symbol of Bled. The island on Lake Bled has 99 steps. A local tradition at weddings is for the husband to carry his new bride up these steps, during which the bride must remain silent. Overnight at Bled.

Day 11

Bled – Zagreb (194km/3h30min)
Transfer to Zagreb. After arrival visit the gothic styled Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the most impressive buildings in Zagreb as the interior is elaborately decorated. There is also a bustling outdoor market in the courtyard in front of the church where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

Day 12

Zagreb
Transfer to the airport for your final departure.
