DAY 1
Warsaw
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2
WARSAW
Drive along the Royal Route with its beautiful palaces, statues and churches. Explore the Old Town with the Castle Square and the King Sigismund's Column. Visit St. John's Cathedral. Continue to the Warsaw Historical Museum.
DAY 3
WARSAW – LOWICZ(80km/1h30min)– WARSAW
Visit Wilanow Palace, which was not destroyed during WWII. Continue to the Old Town.Travel to Lowicz town, famous for its folk traditions in music, dress, embroidery and paper cut - outs. Visit the unique Lowicz castle ruins. the evening with Moniuszko's songs.
DAY 4
WARSAW – CZESTOCHOWA (220km/3h30min) – KRAKOW(140km/2h)
Travel to Czestochowa. Visit the Jasna Gora Monastery and see the Black Madonna picture. Explore one of the most important places of religious worship in the Christian world. Continue to Krakow. Walk through the former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. Enjoy a Klezmer music concert.
DAY 5
KRAKOW
Stroll through the Market Square. Visit St. Mary's Church with the famous wooden altar, the Town hall Tower, the Cloth Hall and the burgher's houses. Continue to the Jagiellonian University Museum - Collegium Maius. Enjoy an opera performance in the Slowacki Theater.
DAY 6
KRAKOW – WIELICZKA – KRAKOW
See the Wawel Hill with its Castle and Cathedral where Poland's kings were once crowned. Travel to Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Back to Krakow.
DAY 7
KRAKOW – ZAKOPANE(120km/2h)– KRAKOW
Explore the wooden church in Debno. Travel to Zakopane, a mixture of mountain folklore and typical wooden architecture. Enjoy regional music and dances. Continue to Atma Villa Museum, a former home of the great composer Karol Szymanowski. Enjoy the piano recital with a glass of wine. Back to Krakow.
DAY 8
KRAKOW – PSZCZYNA(100km/1h30min) – WROCLAW (230km/2h30min)
Travel to Pszczyna ducal residence with spectacular architectural forms. Enjoy the beautiful parks. Continue to Wroclaw, whose history has made it an interesting architectural mosaic.
DAY 9
WROCLAW
Visit the Market Square with the Gothic Town Hall and its tower, ceramic gable, beautiful portal and sculptures. See the Panorama Raclawicka painting. Continue to the University buildings with its magnificent interiors. Enjoy a music performance in Wroclaw Philharmonic Hall.
DAY 10
WROCLAW– ANTONIN 80km/1h30min – LODZ130km/2h30min
Travel to Antonin, famous for the International Chopin competition, which is held yearly. Explore the wooden, hunting lodge built for Prince Antoni Radziwill, where F. Chopin gave concerts. Continue to Lodz. Enjoy opera performance at the Grand Theatre.
DAY 11
LODZ –ZELAZOWA WOLA(100km/1h30min) – WARSAW(50km/1h)
Explore the town of the famous Jewish pianist, Artur Rubinstein. Visit the Historical Museum, dedicated to the artist. Continue to Zelazowa Wola, the birthplace of the great Polish composer, Frederic Chopin where he composed polonez, mazurek, oberek, kujawiak. Departure to Warsaw.
DAY 12
WARSAW
Transfer to the airport.
